Thanks yall, this was a perfect recap to what’s been going on. I feel like as Americans we’re sort of used to politicians being heavily influenced by donations/lobby $ (which doesn’t make it right, but business as usual), but when it’s the Supreme Court being bought and sold… can’t describe the level of disturbing. AND they’re hearing hypothetical cases?? It’s like the Minority Report prequal happening right now. About Gen Z and Millennials making up most of the electorate soon - I’m concerned that so many rights will have been stripped away by then, they will not have enough agency even to change things. Plus will be too worried about paying off student loans at retirement age.
