I became a solopreneur in July 2008, starting with one company and expanding to three separate but related companies and a podcast by 2017. Through my company Detroit Ink Publishing, I worked with over three hundred independent writers, starting with their manuscripts.
A Course to Help Independent Writers
When I had my own independent publishing company, Detroit Ink Publishing, I helped independent writers publish over 300 print books and eBooks. I saw completed manuscripts in good shape, and in not-so-good shape. The most important thing I told my clients before I started the editing process was to get their manuscripts ready for editing!
