First, I want to give a BIG “Thank You!” to all of my loyal followers. I appreciate you!
Some writers on Medium focus primarily or exclusively on one niche or topic, but I like to write about several different issues and concepts: personal, professional, and political.
For my birthday month, I want to give you a gift: my goal for this month is to publish a story (of any length) every single day this month, even when I’m on vacation at my husband’s family reunion the 3rd week of the month.
My other goal for the month is to add fifty (50) new member-sponsors to my 6-month-old new business, the TeamOwens313 Global Creative Community by the end of October. The TeamOwens313 Global Creative Community (TO313 GCC), hosted by marriage and creative business partners Keith Owens and Pamela Hilliard Owens, is designed for creative and solo professionals and small business owners.

I’ve been a writer, editor, podcaster, business consultant, and solopreneur since 2008, and I was an educator and a sales leader in previous careers. My husband is also a writer, as well as a journalist, a musician, and a communications professional. We’ve been married since 1998 and in business together since 2007.
I started with one business in 2008 (right in the middle of the Great Recession!) and grew to three separate but related businesses by 2014, added a podcast in 2017, and wrote a book in 2018! Wow!
