Celebrating one month on Substack

It’s been a little more than a month since we launched “We Are Speaking” here on Substack. We are really enjoying writing and podcasting on this new (for us) platform.

First of all, thank you all for your support! It means to world to us.

We especially appreciate those of you who have “Liked” and/or “Commented” on our posts and episodes. Keep ‘em coming!

Our goal is not just to talk to you, but to engage with you. We are certainly looking forward to more engagement with you on the posts and episodes that particularly appeal to you.

Next, for now, all posts and episodes will be free to all subscribers, but that will be changing in a couple of months.

As creative professionals ourselves, one of our goals is to help other creative and solo professionals get paid for their work. It is the same for us.

But we know that we have to earn your support. That is why we are working hard to bring value to you through this publication and give you information, stories, and a perspective you won’t find elsewhere.

When we add a paywall here, free subscribers will always receive the Monday articles and Friday podcast episodes. After the paywall is added, only paid subscribers will receive all of the weekly articles.

You can convert to a paid subscription at any time; you don’t have to wait until the official paywall is instituted. Investing in a paid subscription is greatly appreciated, but totally optional.

But for now, the BEST way you can additionally support us to is spread the word and encourage your friends, family, and colleagues to become subscribers to this publication.

Our goal for March 2022 is to have 125 subscribers, and as of now, we are about 1/2 to that goal?
