The story of Butch the Chicken

So once again we're continuing our count down toward the official launch of the Mayonnaise Murders Trilogy, which will be on Friday, July 21, from 7-9 p.m. at our favorite bookstore, Book Suey, in Hamtramck at 10345 Joseph Campau.

Today I want to introduce you to Butch the Chicken, one of the leading human/chicken hybrids featured in our story. Like most of the other characters in The Mayonnaise Murders, Butch is somewhat comical. He is also the prime enforcer for Deep Cluck, which is a job he takes very seriously. And he is angry ALL the time. Deep Cluck, who I introduced you to earlier, has become the leader of a movement to get revenge against the human purebreds on behalf of his beloved chickens, who accepted him and took him in when everyone else thought he was just a joke.
Now the joke just may be on the purebreds, as Deep Cluck and his army of human/chicken hybrids plot a revolution.
