Issue #76: OpEd
We usually publish only one op-ed per week. But I feel that I must publish a 2nd op-ed this week. Actually, I am going to post the articles from two experts: Heather Cox Richardson, a history professor who is the #1 writer on Substack, and Dan Rather, the well-known journalist and retired national tv news anchor. I recommend that you subscribe to their newsletters.
Some people, especially younger people, get upset with me when I say: “We told you so!” We remind people that we cautioned in 2016 about what would happen if Trump won. We kept screaming: “It’s all about the Supreme Court!” People said we were being unnecessarily hysterical.
It turns out we were hysterical for a reason. This current Supreme Court has gone totally rogue, and they are not yet finished.
In the coming days and weeks, I will be publishing articles about the Court from a historical standpoint, and of course, more articles on the government and on education. All of these topics are related.
But for now, please read what Professor Cox Richardson and the esteemed Mr. Rather have to say about what’s been happening with the Supreme Court recently. They are truly experts in their fields.
