Special Edition April 13, 2023
Substack, the website that sends my newsletter straight into your inbox, has a new, Twitter-like but no-drama social media hotspot called Notes. You can interact with your favorite writers on Substack, including us! You can also find some new writers you might like!
I’ve been using Notes for a couple of days, and I like it!
Of course, you can continue to “Like” your favorite posts and leave comments, in addition to participating in Notes!
Our goal is to continue to grow this community here on our “We Are Speaking” Substack, and we want you to be an active part!
I just published my first note on Substack Notes, and would love for you to join me there!
Notes is a new space on Substack for us to share links, short posts, quotes, photos, and more. I plan to use it for things that don’t fit in the newsletter, like work-in-progress or quick questions.
How to join
Head to substack.com/notes or find the “Notes” tab in the Substack app. As a subscriber to We Are Speaking, you’ll automatically see my notes. Feel free to like, reply, or share them around!
You can also share notes of your own. I hope this becomes a space where every reader of We Are Speaking can share thoughts, ideas, and interesting quotes from the things we're reading on Substack and beyond.
If you encounter any issues, you can always refer to the Notes FAQ for assistance. Looking forward to seeing you there!
