Issue #407 OpEd Monday, November 6, 2023
Yesterday, almost a full year before the 2024 presidential election, the New York Times published a poll that showed the quadruply-indicted, twice-impeached, proven sexual abuser and rapist, accused massive business fraudster, two-time popular vote loser former president, also known as Fulton County inmate #P01135809, ahead of President Biden in several states.
At about the same time the Susquehanna Polling and Research (SP&R) organization found that in a national poll, Biden would beat Trump by seven points, including that Robert Kennedy, Jr. would receive 6 points that would have gone to Trump.
Democrats are going crazy about the first poll, with some even saying that Biden should drop out immediately.

Get a Grip! Ignore the Polls!
1. It is a full year before the election.
2. The presidential election is won state-by-state, not nationally.
3. The media needs something shocking to write/talk about.
What to do instead:
1. Pay attention to the several state elections happening on Tuesday, November 7, 2023.
1. Pay attention to your upcoming local and state races, including school board elections.
1. Stop believing all of the negative comments and articles about Joe Biden and Kamala Harris. They are doing a great job overall, even if you disagree with some of the policies or positions.
1. Make sure that you and everyone you know are registered and your registrations are still valid. Especially pay attention to the local rules if you have students away at college.
1. Don’t even think about voting “third party” or not voting at all. That’s what happened in 2016 that got us into this mess.
We cannot afford to get depressed, disinterested, or distraught. Next year’s elections are going to be very close, up and down the ballot. Every single vote in every single state will count.
We need to hold on to the presidency, win back control of the House, and expand our majority in the Senate.
Period.
