So we're continuing our countdown toward the official launch of the Mayonnaise Murders Trilogy, which again will be on Friday, July 21, from 7-9 p.m. at our favorite bookstore, Book Suey, in Hamtramck at 10345 Joseph Campau. Today I want to introduce you to Dr. Varcelius Von, who is perhaps the most central character of the whole story because he is the creator of the dangerous drug MayoMadd, and he is also the father of Vee, Vid's crime-solving partner and famed investigative reporter. Dr. Von, a critter, is a brilliant but troubled scientist who was forced to create MayoMadd for the horrific purpose of silencing critter children during their formative years, only to discover that the drug was being repurposed as a mood-enhancer and sold by his own daughter Vee before she changed her ways.
