Issue #308 Friday. Funday April 28, 2023
Welcome to the ever-evolving world of language, where new words and phrases are born every day, thanks to the internet and social media.
Whether you're a millennial or a Gen Z'er, or you’re a Boomer who simply wants to keep up with the latest lingo, understanding these urban acronyms can help you stay connected and in the know.
One of my favorite acronyms is ICYMI, which means: In Case You Missed It. I use that one a lot, just to save space.
In today's Friday Funday article, I'll be diving into the most common urban acronyms that have taken over our screens, helping you decode the language of texting.
From FOMO (Fear Of Missing Out) to JOMO (Joy Of Missing Out), and everything in between, we've got you covered! So sit back, relax, and prepare to level up your texting game as we embark on this linguistic journey together.
This list contains an acronym for every day of the month!
And remember, IYKYK!
