In 2008, right in the middle of the Great Recession, I started my first company, Writing It Right For You (WIRFY), an independent writing and editing business.

By 2012, many of my WIRFY clients who were independent writers hired me to edit their manuscripts, but then they didn’t know what to do next. So I started my second company, Detroit Ink Publishing (DIP). Since 2012, I have edited and published over 200 print and eBooks for my clients.

I really enjoy working with my clients, most of whom are first-time writers who have completed their manuscript and are ready to become published authors. Today I have several clients who have published more than one (or more than four!) books with DIP. Although we publish some fiction genres, we specialize in nonfiction books and business books as lead-generating authority assets.

My company offers editing, formatting, cover design, copywriting, publishing, and book and author marketing services in packages customized for each client.
